We went to a special “Campfire and Candles” at Fort Vancouver this month.  They re-enacted 200 years of history through costume, tents, horses, even a cannon.  I think it was useful to get a “sense” of what it may have been like back then.  It was a lot of fun; and I wish we could have stayed longer.  It is one thing to read about history, and it is quite another to get as close as we can to seeing it in 3D like this.
