Opal Creek Wilderness: Jawbone Flatts

We drove 2 hours south, to go on a 6 mile hike with our 3 kids, 2 dogs, and 18 year old guest.  It took us ALL Day; and it took us about 7 hours just to hike it. It was an easy hike, but with the dogs and a four years old; we were stopping every 5 minutes.  It was completely worth it.  Beautiful hike with a lot of interesting sights.  The old junkyard relics of a mill, cars, mines made it incredible.  A photographer’s dream.  I am still not done going through all the pictures yet, either.  There are some waterfalls for me to process.
