I drove almost 3 hours (one way) to see some bluebirds this weekend and it was worth it. I feel like I got to know them a little bit from doing this. They are enduring and beautiful; flying back and forth between a few spots; were shy, but also at times, almost “posed.” There are a couple of these images that almost look like a female is looking at me saying “what are you doing here?!”
