Senior Portrait Session

There is something really special about photographing senior pictures especially those with whom I have known their whole life. This is my nephew. He has done a lot in his eighteen years. He made the bridge you see in the pictures. He bikes, he loves his pets. He is an active daring, very intelligent man now. Capturing a senior is not just about the end result, the session itself is an experience. It can be a lot of fun, and I love getting to know people even more through this process. This rite of passage is a really big deal. I remember this stage so well in my own life. I remember my grandmother being present during my portraits and the feeling of hope and adventure to come. This stage in life can be both scary and full of adventure.
