Searching for Owls and Joy

January 16, 2023January 16, 2023 / RiverRoots / Leave a comment

I love owls. So much. In the Spring, there are flowers to photograph, in the Summer bodies of water and adventures, in the Fall, there are the changing leaves, Christmas time-lights and maybe snow, after that there is a period of brown and that is when I want to capture birds. Right now there are … Continue reading Searching for Owls and Joy

Neowise Comet: Summer 2020

May 29, 2021May 29, 2021 / RiverRoots / Leave a comment

Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens

May 10, 2016February 22, 2017 / RiverRoots / Leave a comment

Field Trip Day a couple of weeks ago, we visited the lilac gardens in WA.  Curiosity gets me.  This was a place I have not seen before and the old house was going to be open to the public, so I thought it would have a little history for the kids.  I think the lilacs … Continue reading Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens
